What could be more fun than a flea market? I'm sure a lot of things to some, but not me. I live for artsy fairs where you can buy old, new & repurposed.
The Columbus Flea is just that. A place where local vendors sell a variety of antiques, artwork, clothing, records and other unique crafts. Grab a cocktail (& maybe a cookie from Dough Mama) and shop around? Yes please. Once a season they come out and absolutely kill it.
The 2017 Winter Flea was held at Strongwater Food & Spirits-- though it totally could have been at its usual outdoor spot due to the unseasonably warm (& awsome!) temps. The space could not be more perfect for this type of event with its old warehouse vibe.
Each season they create a bag and/or tee whose proceeds benefit a greater cause. The 2017 Winter Flea raised over $6K for Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio-- of course I snagged a tee for myself!
Due to this flea falling right in the middle of all of the political madness, a ton of shops showed their support for women. This shop had the cutest gal pal pins & working girl socks.
Beers, shopping, sunshine, & babies- can it get any better?
Flea markets seriously give me alllll the feels. This day was full of sunshine, happiness & vintage vibes. The Columbus Flea is nothing short of amazing & I am already looking forward to the 2017 Spring Flea- date TBD.
